Cheese Bar

The Cheese Bar restaurant is found at 2925 Ingersoll in Des Moines, Iowa, where house-made charcuterie, grilled cheeses, and Cast-Iron Mac & Cheese are among the menu items.

Drinks include cocktails, 30 beers, cider and mead on tap, and 18 wines by the glass, providing plenty of options to accompany meals.

Authentic Swiss fondue with all the trimmings and Raclette melted cheese over confit potatoes are some of the notable items, reflecting the restaurant's focus on melted cheese, as seen in its slogan, 'Melted cheese all day, every day!'

Those looking to host a party or event may find The Cheese Shop of Des Moines, the restaurant's sister business, useful for catering platters, gift boxes, a monthly cheese club, classes, and more, though Cheese Bar itself does not currently accept reservations.

Cheese Bar can be reached at 515-277-7828 or via email at info@cheesebardsm.com, and it is closed on Sundays, Mondays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
