About this event
REFRAME: From Automatic Reactions to Intentional Living explores why we sometimes react in ways that do not reflect who we want to be. Drawing on practical neuroscience, Nancy Post explains how repeated thoughts, emotions, and behaviors create neural pathways that can begin to run on autopilot. Defensiveness, rumination, people-pleasing, overthinking, and other frustrating habits are not fixed character flaws.
They are learned patterns, and the brain remains capable of change. Through personal stories, leadership lessons, and accessible brain science, Reframe helps readers recognize the patterns shaping their reactions, understand what triggers them, and intentionally practice better responses. The result is greater choice in difficult moments, stronger relationships, clearer decisions, and more freedom to live in alignment with the person you want to become.
